He was born in the Philippines with the desire to create fresh and modern pieces modified with a personal touch. “A memorable trip is all about the experience. Our affordable prices allow travelers to spend on their experience and still be incredibly chic,” says Pia Ugarte García-Morera, co-founder and creative director of Viajecito.

“We find most of our inspirations on our travels and we want to share them with people back home,” adds Marta García-Morera, the group's trend hunter.

“Our brand is all about the weekend. It is about creating a product inspired by the place where we have been, so that our customers can take it with them when they take their little trips.” says Marla Batallones, the third of the Viajecito trio.

What brought Marta, Marla and Pia together was their passion for travel and unique finds. Family ties and old friendships also played a huge role. Pia and Marta are sisters-in-law, while Marla and Marta have been best friends since they were 13 years old, even though they live on opposite parts of the world. Little trip is what you call a long distance relationship gone well. Marta is based in Madrid, Spain, while Pia and Marla are in Manila. All of your planning, item hunting, and negotiations are done virtually (via Whatsapp, email, or Skype). This allows Marta to constantly travel, looking for the latest trends, new inspirations and meeting with producers, while Pia and Marla handle sales and operations in the Philippines. They are enthusiastic about their effort; They tirelessly search for pieces that their customers love and look forward to being welcomed into the Philippine retail world with open arms.
